Well Le Tour de France is over...
So far this is the best Tour I have witnessed since I started following road racing (which is not all that long) and it was really nice to see. Mr. Armstong was not dominating like past races and this time there was actually 2 contenders!
Now what am I supposed to do with my mornings? I guess it is spent scouring the regular cycling web devices hoping for some new cycling gossip, enjoying the rantings and antics of Greg LeMond. I also discovered the awesomness of "Map My Ride" it is like a coloring book for bicycle tourists except in this book you get to live out the pages.
Speaking of touring...it is really awesome. Looooong days spent on the bike looking at beautiful and ugly scenery, smelling the best and worst smells, feeling more pleasure and more pain that I ever feel.
it is not racing it is surviving. cliche? yes, awesome? hell yes.
